Complete Guide for Your First Free-Roam VR Experience
If you've never tried virtual reality, or if your experience is limited to desktop headsets, free-roam will surprise you. Here's our complete guide to arrive prepared and make the most of your session.
Before the session
Choose the right clothing: closed and comfortable shoes (mandatory — no heels, sandals or flip-flops), comfortable clothes like a tracksuit or jeans and t-shirt. Avoid very loose clothes with laces or drawstrings that might catch on equipment. If you have long hair, tie it back.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your slot. This time is essential to complete check-in, sign the participation form, receive the safety briefing and get familiar with basic controls. Don't miss this precious time.
During the briefing
Our staff will explain everything you need: how the tracking system works, what to do if you see the warning grid (it means you're approaching the arena boundary), how to communicate with your teammates and how to signal a pause.
Inside the arena
Your teammates will appear as avatars in the virtual world — you can see each other and coordinate. Collaboration is the key to success in most of our experiences. Communicate, plan, have fun.
After the session
Many people want to repeat immediately. If you're satisfied, leave an online review and book your next adventure. If you felt a little disoriented (very rare in free-roam), sit down for a minute and hydrate — it will pass in seconds.
